I know this is about the AHL story but I was wondering what the deal is with R Murray? I don't watch many jackets games but is he a guy who you anticipate hits 40+ pts long term? Just curious what he looks like out there.

I just a fan, but Murray seems to be a puck moving d-man too, and is very good in his own end, and working on the PK. He finally seemed over his injuries in the second half of last season and worked will with Seth Jones until the both sort of ran out of gas at the end of last season.
He may not be the greatest number 2 pick in NHL draft history, but he can be a great top-pairing D-man for a long time to come.
BTW, good blog Paul, and I completely agree with you. I hate to see Boll bought out or in Cleveland next year, and Clarkson on LTIR, but these guys in Columbus would be a great help, along with whatever Finn we get with the #3 pick in the draft.
